HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ) Releases June 26, 2026
Bandai’s Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Gunpla lineup continues to grow with the release of the HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ), officially scheduled for Saturday, June 26, 2026.
The kit brings the ORX-139 Hambrabi from Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX into the High Grade line, giving builders a new version of one of Gundam’s most unusual transformable mobile suits. In the GQuuuuuuX timeline, the Hambrabi is a prototype mobile suit developed by Augusta Laboratory and piloted by Gates Capa.
One of the biggest selling points of this release is its transformation gimmick. The Hambrabi is able to transform into its Mobile Armor form, giving fans more display options beyond the standard mobile suit mode.
The kit also includes the Hambrabi’s signature weapons, including the Fedayeen Rifle and Sea Serpent. The Sea Serpent can be displayed with lead wire parts, allowing builders to recreate its firing state. The head unit also features a movable mono-eye, giving the model more expression when posed.
The Hambrabi has always stood out because of its strange silhouette, sharp body shape, and Mobile Armor transformation. The GQ version gives that design a new interpretation while keeping the machine’s recognizable identity.
The HG 1/144 Hambrabi (GQ) is priced at 2,860 yen tax included in Japan. With its transformation, weapon loadout, movable mono-eye, and connection to Gundam GQuuuuuuX, this kit is shaping up to be one of the more interesting High Grade releases of June 2026.
